Ridiculous.... If I were a ruthless State Actor (as opposed to a thick former Metals Dealer), I'd fly my guys into the UK on fake passports and just have them quietly disappear. Last thing I'd do is stick them in a rubber boat on the off chance they might make it across the Channel.

Liar. Small boat crossings peaked under Johnson in 2022 reaching 46,000 in 2022. In current year they are 18,565 and falling. Also prior to Boris Johnson's Brexit there were none.

Net migration to the UK plummeted to 171,000 year ending 2025 (82% lower than it’s 2023 peak. It’s expected to drop below 100,000 in 2026 with a 44% decrease in small boat crossings year on year. According polling, 49% of the public believe migration has increased while only 16% recognise it fell.
