For every story like the Cornell gang rape, there are thousands more that couldn’t make it into the light. I wrote about a few dozen of them at one university in On the Wrong Side. The university’s treatment of survivors is eerily similar to what Jane Doe at Cornell experienced.

In my new article, I compare female same-sex and different-sex parent couples and find that female same-sex couples divide paid work more equally. In East Germany, both couple types are relatively egalitarian; in West Germany, different-sex couples remain more specialized ▶️ doi.org/10.5771/0038...

New brief report in @jmfncfr.bsky.social We follow earnings of male same-sex couples in 🇩🇰, 🇳🇱, and 🇸🇪 around the time they become parents. Main takeaway: not much changes for them! Also: no signs of long-lasting specialization based on pre-parenthood earnings or biological relatedness to the child.
