In my new article, I compare female same-sex and different-sex parent couples and find that female same-sex couples divide paid work more equally. In East Germany, both couple types are relatively egalitarian; in West Germany, different-sex couples remain more specialized ▶️ doi.org/10.5771/0038...

The authors "find that gay and lesbian people have higher educational attainment than heterosexual people in all five countries and that these higher levels of education stem from greater rates of upward educational mobility among gay/lesbian people."
