I've been using Qobuz for a year and while it hasn't been perfect, they're taking a lot of Ws. Obviously I'd rather they just ban AI shit entirely but as far as I know they're the only music streamer doing the bare minimum of flagging it.

Star Wars + Halo highlight how different film and game culture has become. Even when the original creator wants to make changes to his movie, film people clown his ass to oblivion for it. It becomes a cultural joke, to do a George Lucas. Yet game people welcome Halo Campaign Evolved with open arms.

Outside of 4k remasters (which in most cases are a restoration of detail that was already captured on film), we simply accept that old movies just look like that, even animated movies. Nobody is remaking Toy Story every time there's a leap in tech. We just watch that movie. Why are games different?

I'm not at Gamescom this year, but my advice is this: go and have dinner with someone outside of the Gamescom grounds. Three people max. It can be tempting to katamari your way into a 25 person gathering but all the most valuable meetings I've had were at a single table in a quiet restaurant.
