The older I get the more I think this is probably my favourite live-action interpretation of Batman. It totally nails the assignment, has a singular vision, and delivers on it. It's also incredibly faithful to the specific comics it was referencing. Brilliant all round. And it's aged gracefully!

This is devastating. I went to art college with Dave Taylor in 1989-90. Even then, he was leagues ahead of the rest of the class. He was a regular at Forbidden Planet, my old workplace, for years. One of the loveliest, coolest people ever, and a ridiculously talented artist. RIP, mate.

I went and dug up a piece of my unpublished art for Transformers CG2 after me being referenced in James Robert's Generation Mechs book. Kingdom of the Blind page 2 (I think) written by James Roberts - all digital files lost to hungry Scraplets.
