The whole “Pope vs AI” thing has got me reading Wikipedia about papal history, and now I’m reading about antipopes, and the modern versions contain some truly entertaining stuff. “Self-trained […] dentist” is a horrifying set of words.

I only caught the tail end of actually driving in this era, but I spent a lot of time trying to navigate for my parents. My dad always makes sure the car has a bundle of maps- “just in case”- to this day. (By the time I was driving you’d print out Google Maps or maybe Mapquest directions)

My university is the first organisation in the world to force Microsoft to allow us to turn off copilot summaries in Word 365, after a backlash against it from staff (including, very vocally, me).
