The season was hyperactive as forecast, but the way it got there was very unusual. Long chunks of the season in July and October were more active than they have even been. The September peak of the season was among the quietest of all time. 28724

While it was a much milder experience than what happened in southern New England, we lost power and had a large tree fall on the power lines. I was endlessly fascinated. 081
