NES-style metroidvania with modern QoL features like customisable map pins, except for the sake of authenticity it gives you a "password" that's really a base-64 encoding of the game state that you have to write down rather than save files, so the more map pins you place the longer your password is.

i cannot have another TWO three-way toggles for switching between fully rounded, somewhat rounded, and sharp corners on both UI and avatars. what UI could be used instead?

Witchsky appearance settings with 3 three-way toggles already! (the latest is Emoji, with System, Noto, & Twemoji options.) Enable square avatars and Enable square buttons are currently their own checkboxes.
