Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

if you want linux to be accessible to people then GUI installers are *necessary*. people get freaked out by the linux terminal because it's memorizing and learning how to read the text walls it throws at you. i'm *very* tech literate and it took me a long ass time to be comfy.

I use squoosh to compress images for my website because I like that it lets me fiddle around with things while also showing an instant preview. It's also for some reason more effective to convert a PNG in squoosh to another format than to export as that format from Krita in the first place. Big[...]
