I watched a woman sit down yesterday, in front of the ICE agents’ line. She talked to them until 1 ICE agent didn’t want to listen anymore, picked her up and cuffed her. It showed they are the ones being violent

I watched feeds from LA until around 11 pm last night. It was peaceful, lots of smiles, waving flags, honking in support. Even prisoners in jail & protesters had unspoken conversations, waving and shining lights back and forth to each other. While demanding ICE go home. Compassion, love, dignity.

Strategically speaking, is declaring martial law in a sprawling city of 4M people the best place to start? Seems like a logistical nightmare and a great way to show the rest of American how impossible it would be to hold down the entire county. Quite simply, they don’t have the cards.
