I've done a few overnight shifts this week on a nameless industrial estate. It's interesting/sad to note how many people seem to be sleeping/living in their cars? Same 3 every night, sometimes more, always parking in the same places, no parking restrictions here despite not being far from a station.

The wry annoyance at myself for being irrationally upset and huffy at picking up my apple pencil and finding it out of battery, completely forgetting I could just pick up an ACTUAL lead pencil, make the note and happily get on with my day.

Watching old Time Team on 4oD. It's just so CHARMING. Also provides a fascinating time capsule of it's own when you notice the cars that some of the archaeologists drive to the digs (maybe that's just me).
