Dudes rock
Shortly after that standoff, Curtis Evans stood directly in front of the gate with an American flag. The 65-year-old Evanston resident heard about the first protest on social media and came to represent “the ideals that our country stands for.” He said tear gas and pepper balls hurt, but “five minutes later, you’re fine.”

This was a fringe idea a couple of years ago, pushed by DeSantis and conservative lawyers, and now it is a key argument for government censorship of campus speech.

They released him! The Trump administration deported people, many of whom it lied about being criminals, and then exchanged them for *a triple murderer *they knew about his record *and have now released him in America www.nytimes.com/2025/07/24/w...
Now, the convict, Dahud Hanid Ortiz, 54, a U.S.
Army veteran, is free in the United States, according to two people with knowledge of the case. One said he was in Orlando, Fla.
When the Americans put Mr. Hanid Ortiz on a plane on Friday back to the United States, at least some people in the Trump administration knew of his criminal past, according to a third person.

lmfao this caption. 'Many Jewish New Yorkers voted for Zohran, but politicians who do not represent the same city or even the same state aren't so supportive.'
Mr. Mamdani won support from many Jewish New Yorkers, but his nomination has divided the Jewish community both in the city and across the country.

Nothing says more about this movement than the fact that their main focus, beyond the attempt to roll back all evidenced-based medicine because it "is gay," is to somehow make french fries and soda good for you. They will fight the war to make treats healthy to the last man.

HUGE admission by El Salvador here; it completely puts to lie the Trump admin’s repeated claims in court that it has no control over people sent to El Salvador to be imprisoned without trial. El Salvador told the United Nations definitively; these people are being held under U.S. jurisdiction.

worth noting the pipeline here: * Trump-supporting anons hack Columbia data * Nazi twitter accounts dig around in the data * NYT picks up on Nazi substack posts, publishes Zohran story to damage his campaign * Chris Rufo immediately boosting the story
Rufo RTs Cremieux: The story is here.

We caught Zohran Mamdani applying to Columbia...

The shocking thing about Trump tossing off a “shylock” slur is he pushes antisemitic conspiracy theories, said he needs accountants with “funny little hats,” does dual loyalty smears, openly speaks of Good Jews and Bad Jews, hired neo-Nazis, and more, and media still says he’s opposing antisemitism.

This is the entire fulcrum of the anti-trans movement. Every random person believes they have the right to weigh in on "care" and what is psychologically and medically best for kids and even other adults, and for some reason governments have decided this is rational.
The teacher raised her concerns with the headteacher over the summer break, writing in a letter: "I am concerned that I am required to give 'affirmative care' to somebody who may regret it later.

"I am convinced that blanket affirmative care would be very damaging, potentially leading to irreversible physical and mental harm."

Israeli airstrike kills nine of Gaza doctor’s 10 children, reports say
Dr Alaa al-Najjar was on duty at Nasser hospital in Khan Younis when she received her children’s bodies An Israeli airstrike on Gaza hit the home of a doctor, killing nine of her 10 children while she was on duty at her hospital, according to multiple media sources. ICE pretended to arrest a 21 yo in order to force her to call her undocumented mother to come leave the house (where she was safe from ICE arrest) to care for her baby. When the mother came, she was abducted and the daughter was suddenly of no interest to ICE. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...
Ferreira de Oliveira, who is 40 years old, was still at their nearby home when she received a phone call from one of her daughters, who said ICE had pulled them over and were threatening to arrest Clara.

Ferreira de Oliveira’s frightened daughter told her mother that she needed to leave the home now and come meet them on the street, because ICE was telling them that if they arrested Clara, they weren’t allowed to leave the baby in the hands of a minor. So, the feds insisted, grandma needed to rush over to take custody of the baby.

Shortly after Ferreira de Oliveira arrived on the scene, ICE took her into custody. The agents suddenly no longer seemed interested in the 21-year-old daughter. ICE did not arrest her or her 17-year-old sibling.
