This just up on Peter Green’s YouTube. A Tim and Neil live (1996) version of Many’s A Time. Audience recording quality, but grateful they recorded it at all! youtu.be/pC5AD37O2Nk #NeilFinn #TimFinn

*Wonderful* photo of Neil and Nick last night at The Hydro in Glasgow by @weeminn.bsky.social 📸🙌 I think this was around the time that Nick said he had worn those trousers because he was “being Glaswege”. #CrowdedHouse

Saw Crowded House in Glasgow Hydro last night. Joyous. Best banger: When You Come - MCR version from this week attached. Best quiet track: Some Greater Plan with mandolin from (I think) Greek group, Maistrato. 🙌 #CrowdedHouse ⬇️Sound not great but you get the build up 🎸🤍 youtu.be/xG9-YRw8Bbw

It was a fantastic concert! I saw them in the late 80's in Montreal, and they sounded great, live. Unfortunately, I missed the last Canadian tour -hopefully, I'll catch them next time🎶😊

Growing up in NZ in the 70s/80s, we only had 2 TV channels. 3 from mid-80s. Watching “Solid Gold” (yes, we got that in NZ), and they introduced Split Enz as an Australian band! How very dare they! Mind you… no one in the US probably knew NZ. My all-time fave track still to this day.

Been a fan since ‘87 and they’ve capitalized on everything from Duran Duran to Crowded House to Swedish pop to the Hothouse Flowers. They’re populist assimilators, blending their favorite sounds back into their AC/DC meets Queen foundation. Like U2 and Bowie, but without the street cred.
