A fleet of vehicles depart from the glowing airlock chamber of the recycling plant and head towards the Runaway, which is stationed on the rails outside with a towering delicate-materials hitch attached to the jack sled it sits on, and a construction elevator positioned outside its docking ring. A suited Talita is shown handing off pressurized canisters of luggage from the construction elevator to Gillie and Idrisah, who are standing inside the airlock of the Runaway. Inside the airlock, the sweaty trio take off their helmets and enjoy the cool air blasting from the air pumps. Gillie's hair and Talita's mane are rumpled and wet and flattened from being in the helmets. Talita stretches her arm and jaw as Idrisah signs thanks to her for doing so much heavy lifting. On the wall panel displays, Bip waves to them and prints the word "WELCOME!" The lifting isn't done yet, though, as the trio pack their belongings into the cargo bay. Luggage is held to the floor, walls, and ceiling with thick adjustable straps, then covered with netting. Talita brings in cargo while Gillie and Idrisah tighten straps. Finally, the three follow Bip's directions into a room of the third floor. They point down from the third floor ceiling and print the words "LAUNCH BEDS." They carefully climb down the ladder through the door of the sideways room.

Gillie, Idrisah, and Talita all lie down in cushioned launch beds that are positioned flat against the interior outer wall of the ship, and buckle their seatbelts. Bip's icon lounges on the wall next to them, as if also lying down. The floor of the room (currently a vertical wall at their feet) displays a countdown of 25 minutes and 32 seconds. The launch procedure begins, described in steps: 1. Dispatches on ground rail: the sled with the Runaway travels away from the recycling plant along the outside of the berm wall. 2. Transfers to access rail: the sled switches rails onto a path that takes it around the far edge of the berm, and into the interior loop. 3. Merges onto loop rail: the sled switches tracks onto the looped end of the launch highway. 4. Passes through magnetic bearing housing: the sled rounds the loop track along the inside of the berm and passes through one of the trapezoidal buildings powering the rotors of the launch loop. 5. Approaches loop ascent: the sled heads out straight towards the climb. 6. Ascends launch loop: the sled climbs the 80 km tall rail, the ground beneath it falling away to an inky black sky with stars. made my first custom brush ever out of pure annoyance that body hair brushes never do what i need them to before -> after

drawing of a big fat hairy man. Brush is a good style! but does not allow for ribboning, resulting in a messy portrayal of chest and stomach hair growth patterns. Brush used is available on Clip Studio Asset Store (Content ID：1970603)

Arena is mad that people are bullying her in a non-sexual context.

You can't see Arena blushing because of her fur, but she is doing it. This is a legit thing I debated, and I went with the answer that was less work, because I had to do that at least once eventually.

I was commissioned by @filthyfigments.bsky.social to draw up a BRAND NEW RSS COMIC! With all the Tapas news, I thought this would be the perfect time to post the full comic. This is an up-to-date comic with what I'm using, how I'm using it, and how you can too! #Comic #RSS #Webcomic #Art

Digitally drawn comic with black choppy lines and a purple tone over the colours. The comic is set in space with Jey, a white nonbinary person with short black hair and a chubby build; Ember, a chubby blond white woman with goggles on her head and two heart shaped pigtails; Pomona, a thin black woman with dark purple hair wrapped up in a heart-shaped bun and then in a braid from that. The three of them are sitting in a space ship, all looking at their hologram tablets. Jey says "Hell yeah, that new comic on Filthy Figments" just updated!" Ember looks surprised and asks "WHAA?! How'd you know that? I didn't see it yet!" Pomona responds "Yeah, what's up? I don't see any posts about it on socials." Jey points to their hologram tablet and says "Oh I got the notification on my RSS reader as soon as the page went up!" Ember looks confused and asks "R-what-what?" and Pomona says "Sounds sexy, do tell~" Jey explains "RSS, or Really Simple Syndication", is an update feed for a website. Every time the site publishes a blog post, comic page, or anything else, that feed is updated. Pomona and Ember then ask "Okay cool, but how do we access that feed? I'm no hacker or anything!" Jey points up to the URL of the feed and says "It's really simple~ heh" All you need is: the feed url from the site, usually a button or a link (ie. filthyfigments.com/comic/feed) and a feed reader! Pomona asks "Do you have any sexy ready recs, Jey? ❤️" Jey responds excitedly with "Oh, I sure do! I've tried a whole bunch out, and every reader is a little different so try out a few to see what fits you best." Here's a few I've tried: Feedbro Feedbin (paid, but worth it) Feedly (was good but got into AI) Thunderbird Ukagaka Ghosts (the most fun) Jey presents these to Ember and Pomona and says "I like Feedbro the best for my needs~"

Copy the link and add it to your reader of choice: The image shows a mouse copying the url filthyfigments.com/comic/feed and pasting it into the feed reader, which then turns in to a feed of posts and images for the user. The feed shows blog posts, subscription posts, and image posts by people on their own websites, blogs and a tumblr. Jey shows the finished feed off and says "And VOILA! You've got a feed of JUST the sites you add." Pomona grins and says "Ohh, it looks just like a social media feed~" Ember excitedly clasps her hands together and asks "But-- without algorithms?!" Jey replies with a cheeky little grin "You got it! Your feed reader wont' ever give you posts from sites you don't follow, it'll always be in chronological order and WITHOUT ADS!" Ember throws her arms up in complete shock saying "NO ADS?! Are you serious? SIGN ME UP!" The three are sitting together on the space ship again with their hologram tablets. Comic page giving a mini tutorial on what an RSS feed is. Panel 1: You might've seen this icon before. It's the RSS icon. But what is RSS? RSS is an update feed for a website. Every time the site publishes a post, article, comic page, etc. the feed is updated. Most websites have a RSS feed. Panel 2: You'll usually find it in a site's menu. It might also be on a sidebar or the footer. Panel 3: But if I click on it it's just a bunch of code! What gives? What am I supposed to do with it?! Panel 4: This is where you'll need a feed reader like feedly!

Comic page giving a mini tutorial on what an RSS feed is. Panel 1: One, on Feedly click the follow button. Two, copy the URL from the site's RSS button and add it to the search box. Panel 2: Three, this will bring up the feed for the site. Four, Add it by clicking the follow button. You can also search the name of the site without the RSS link but it's more accurate if you have the link. Panel 3: Add the new feed to a folder. Panel 4: Now the feed will appear on your Feedly when it updates! Panel 5: What I did was get the Feedly add-on for my browser. So every time a site I follow updates the extension lets me know!
