A digital clock with an imitation pendulum hangs in our office lobby. A clock that uses the pendulum as part of its mechanism normally will swing either once or twice per second, but this one instead makes the arc roughly 1.36 times. Many games for the GameCube use only a fraction of the storage capacity of the disc. I have analyzed the data to determine what the maximum number of retail Mario games that can fit on a single disc would be, creating the Luigi & Wario + Puzzle + Rhythm Maximum Value Pack.

$A GameCube disc has a storage capacity of 1.46 gigabytes. Many Mario games use only a fraction of that storage. Below is the optimal distribution of the smallest Mario-related games on the system to fit 6 entire retail games on a single disc.
