Sometimes I think about Kyle Petty's No Fear Racing for the Super Nintendo. A perfectly adequate Mode7 racing game with ahead of its time presentation and features. It had a robust track designer, good car modification, and you needed to buy tires every race. The actual gameplay was Fine.

like The Shadow isn't the most complex puzzle in Suzuki Bakuhatsu, not by a long shot, but the visuals of it are so immediately arresting - turning a shadow into a puzzle like that takes a very specific kind of skills. puzzle making as a specific part of games really takes a particular mindset.

Anyway, my list goes Rosa and Eva in that order, then Maria Jessica in that order. Regarding the obvious (to me) omissions from both lists, one is a cartoon monster and the other is a biblical sin eater. You just can't really score them on the same scale and I find them unrelatable as a result.
