Okay, I will preface this with the GIGANTIC disclaimer that I promise I know how this looks, and I *swear* this is not personally motivated: If you have an old #LiveJournal account, and it has things you still care about in it, download it or import it to Dreamwidth SOON. Details:

Same. I have some beautiful glitter topcoats and they wrecked my nails when it was time to remove them. 😭 These wraps are SO MUCH BETTER.

The single colour ones in any of the glitter shades will save you (and your nails) so MUCH struggling with glitter polish.

@hello-starling.bsky.social whacked me with the Dean tartan ones and some The Boys ones (now discontinued. 🥲) at a con or two. It was a revelation. 🤯

Hello. I am a finance worker in a film. My designer skirt suit cost the same as a small car. I never speak to customers. I spend my day watching a single line graph on a computer screen. I never open my briefcase or use a calculator. The Gherkin is always visible when I walk through the office.

To those who are dismissive of what happened on Steam 'cause it was just a bunch of adult games with incest in them... Do you know what else has incest, children experiencing harm, zoophilia, noncon, abuse, etc. in it? Baldur's Gate 3. And that's how easily it esculates to games you care about.

The idea that a work of fiction MUST "condemn" all evil on screen comes from the Hays Code. They famously used this stipulation to censor all queer art for decades. Stop trying to recreate the gay censorship code but woke.

Me: I need subtitles so I can understand the dialogue comprehend WHY Junichi Okada and Shinichi Tsutsumi are LOOKING AT EACH OTHER. LIKE. THAT. Also Me: I don't need subtitles if it's an 80s action movie with Hiroyuki Sanada. The duality of fangirl.

I spent 72 hours checking the posting times of every Gazan account I saw fundraising. More than 2/3 of them were inconsistent with Gaza but consistent with Myanmar or Cambodia, where hundreds of thousands of people are trafficked into doing scam work under threat of violence or death.

If all porn is made illegal, you can also make illegal the expression of any person you hate by defining them as obscene and pornographic. "Existing while visibly trans" will be argued to be pornographic. Women dressing insufficiently modestly will be argued to be pornographic.

THIS. It looks so cool doing fancy sword twirling & shooting and not being allowed to drop off a quay/pier. Don't know if the rest of the yakuza genre is like this but I'm willing to give it a go. (After I've finished this one and finished at least 2 other non-MK games.)

don't do this actually it fucks over screenreaders. ntm, it takes like, two seconds to turn off work skins, which renders this moot. most ai scraping tools wouldn't even be impacted by this anyway. you're not stopping ai and you're fucking over disabled readers. don't do this
