All of the (relatively minor) buzz around Avengers: Doomsday feels forced and extremely fake, but we were out Wednesday night and a commercial for VisionQuest came on, and people were audibly excited about that. The TV shows have been better than the movies for a while.

I was lucky the people who helped save me from fundamentalist Protestantism were pagans, as I am now. I respect a lot of religions and even reasonable Christians. I just know way too much about the fundies trying to bring on the end times because they misread their favorite book.
