With that said I will be playing around with the combat system and seeing if I can figure out proper input timing for certain things like melee combos or ranged attacks so that there's an element of rhythm somewhere in the combat.

So I've been kinda leaning towards Ocarina of Time combat because it's familiar to me and most people who have experienced the N64 have played it so it would be easy for others to just pick up and play.

Because it's only a demo I don't want to make a super deep combat system, I want it to be rather simple and of the times for the N64.

At least not to music or audio, I wouldn't even know where to start properly with making sure the audio and code timing matched perfectly every time dynamically while not taking too much overhead.

Matching actions to a beat is something I would like to do but I don't think it would be fully feasable on the N64.

Why do we keep on doing this? Praising a 'small core team' for a game with 1100+ people in the credits is incredibly misleading. This PR narrative hurts, hides the massive shadow workforce of outsourced developers and testers, and sets impossible standards for actual indie teams.
