Changing the oil on my Minicab isn't a perfect process (no way to remove the filter without dripping stuff I then need to wipe down) but it's so much better than everything else I deal with. Now to see if Erasmus has enough energy to go investigate a possible dog park.

I saw eyeball fluid today. Not a great birthday for me, but Erasmus is home and the vet assured me that by tomorrow the only issue will be how annoying he finds his e-collar, and hard that makes eating all the treats he is gonna get.

I am at the vet office, internally panicking. I thought Erasmus was fine from his little spat this morning. I didn't notice any issues on his potty breaks earlier but he woke from his nap this afternoon with a bunch of fluid build up near one of his eyes.

Erasmus got roughed up in his first fight with Ghanima and Leto this morning. He pushed Ghanima a little far and she was "aggressively correcting" him, but Leto saw his sister pushing back and just jumped in swinging. Erasmus cried for like 2 minutes afterwards.

Puppy adventures: Last night according to Erasmus I am the worse. He had to stop playing with the neighbor kids he met on our walk because it was their bedtime. He wasn't allowed to chase the bikers that went by or meet the kids on bikes 3 blocks away.

It's very neat to me that Erasmus reacts to the TV. For the most part the animals I have been around my whole life don't. He got insanely over excited the other day when we watched Sarah Sherman's comedy special, but chills to other things.

Yesterday was a big day for Erasmus. He had his first Tom's French Fri. I had to do a vehicle shuffle, so we went to the garage, and he got to take a nap there, and nap all the way home in Minicab.

When I was little, I always wanted an AT-AT toy. In my 30s, my mom asked me what I wanted for Xmas one year, and I joked that I wanted the same thing I want every year. I tore open that packing at Xmas, and my Mom said it was worth every dollar to see my eyes light up light when I was a child.
