Key details here are that they did so under incorrect belief he was here on a student visa. Presented evidence that he holds a green card, agents on the spot declared it revoked. With all due respect, @amyspitalnick.bsky.social, this is incorrect. AIPAC spent >$20M this summer on what it turned into the two most expensive primary races in US history. That — not AOC’s focus — is what’s singular: no other special interest groups have operated in quite that way.
