They took away Medicaid from my 82 year old mom. They don't answer the phone and when she showed up in person, they refused to talk to her and told her to go home and call them. She got her low income senior housing because she qualified for Medicaid.

Also Texas didn’t expand Medicaid so many people make too little to receive ACA subsidies but also too much for Medicaid which is absurdly low ($200/month income) so they cannot get affordable insurance - which is why Texas is #1 in uninsured!!
