I think I've watched Hadestown's proshot like four or five times now.

The climax of Hadestown's pro-shot. On a large circular stage, Reeve Carney as Orpheus kneels in a pieta pose, looking down into a large hole. On the opposite side, Hermes holds out his hands, wondering how he could have come so close (the word "close" is captioned). The band is visible on one side of the steps around the stage, while the Fates stand on the other steps. The light is dull and warm, shining down on the pit, creating harsh shadows on the stage and cast.

It's frustrating having a friend who is very good at roleplaying and coming up with stories who also is flighty and easily loses steam. It definitely triggers my anxiety about people not liking me, even if he probably reaches out to show me random things more than anyone else.

I sincerely hope that the Democratic party is buried. I am so sick of people telling me that we have to support people who want us dead simply because they want us *less* dead.

A bunch of liberal drivel about how the Democrats have to be supported because "pubs want to persecute you" and that transphobic Democrats "are just a handful" as if there wasn't a constant fucking spew of "vote blue no matter who" and as if the anti trans crowd was actually getting pushback.
