Citizens United was actually the name of the film company trying to get networks to play their anti-Hillary documentary near Election Day. That got it to SCOTUS, which ruled that individuals / nonprofits could not be restricted in spending. Suddenly $ didn’t need to go through campaigns anymore.

I think it’s very good that we have placed billionaires in the position of publicly defending the current tax system that was designed to enrich them. In a progressive tax system, those at the top keep their lifestyles the same. A person who profits $10 billion taxed at 70% is still a billionaire.
