Rewatched Audrey Hepburn and Peter O’Toole in “How to Steal a Million” tonight. By today’s standards, it’s pretty slow. But these two are just so charming together. Great chemistry.

So, I used that specific wording because just two weeks ago an employee of a state agency asked me to delete a post I wrote on this website because it contained public info. I really do hope this doesn't become a trend.

chat is it good if leaders in a nuclear power are posting like this after a 3hr security briefing
Guillaume Lacroix
@Lacroix_PRG
Translated from French
I’ve just emerged from nearly 3 hours of briefing and discussions with the President of the Republic and the intelligence and security services. At the age of 50, I have rarely felt such vertigo. Vertigo at the gravity of the situations in the Middle East and Ukraine, at the predatory madness driving the world toward chaos. Vertigo at the risks and consequences for our security, our economy, our purchasing power. Vertigo at all these candidates who dream, unrestrained, confident in their certainties and their posturing, of governing France in this historical and grave era and situation. Our democracy, our country must already face up to it today and will have to stand firm tomorrow. More than ever, I will fight, in my modest role, for France not to surrender its destiny to delirious egos, to armchair warmongers, to fake pacifists, and to those who submit to ease and fear. France must more than ever be strong. We must all contribute to that. The advantage of vertigo is that it reminds you not to fall. @PartiRadicalG

The NYT gets a lot of ire on here for their editorial decisions and some individual articles. Also sometimes just their headlines. But, while flawed, they are essential for knowing what is happening with the Trump administration and so much more.

For movies like The Odyssey, I often hold off reading reviews in advance. Not to avoid spoilers but because I don’t want to go in with too much of an idea about it. Then when I’m done, I read as many as I can. Definitely recommend this one.
