Photo taken from Cerro San Luis mountain of a huge fogbow stretching across the wide area of Los Osos Valley and San Luis Obispo. The hills are green, the sky mostly blue except for the light fog and a few clouds. The bow starts in Los Osos and ends at a cloud sitting on top of Bishop Peak. To the far right is San Luis Obispo.

A fogbow is white because it's formed from light hitting the small water droplets of fog. Since the droplets are so small, the prism effect doesn't occur as it does in rainbows formed from larger rain drops. Fogbows appear when the sun is at a lower angle and the fog is dissipating.

On this day 12 and a half years ago I saw the coolest ever iceberg. Never seen one like it since. Fellsfjara, Jökulsárlón, #Iceland

A six-foot (ish) high turquoise iceberg with a small friend on a black sand beach. Grey rainy day with some of the turquoise reflected in the blank sand, and long exposure smooth waves breaking.

The waterfall is 64-foot tall curved fountain that cascades 11,000 gallons of water per minute. Both were built by the Pritzker-award winning architect Philip Johnson w/ John Burgee in the early 1980s.

Visually, this is a vertical, low-angle shot emphasizing the dramatic architectural contrast between a modern, reflective skyscraper and the textured, organic surfaces of an adjacent water wall structure under a bright blue sky. On the left, the towering 909 ft tall, blue glass skyscraper, known as the Williams Tower, rises sharply into the frame, its grid-like facade reflecting soft white clouds and the deep blue sky above. (This is the skyscraper that has a cat design & cat tail secretly built into its design by the cat-loving architect, Johnson.)

To the right, the massive concrete walls of the Gerald D.
