the thing where people complain about sex scenes in books because they're "unnecessary to the plot" is so weird to me. You can strip out a lot of things from a book and still follow the plot. That doesn't mean they weren't there for a reason.

There’s only a smaller box of half vegetarian and half prawn spring rolls. So I bought the Woolworths brand veg spring rolls and Zip and I had some today and… they’re better???

For my entire adult life I have regularly bought and consumed the Ho Mai Yum Cha frozen vegetarian spring rolls. Like I almost always have a box in the freezer at all times and have done for like 25 years. But suddenly they don’t seem to sell them anymore???
