Just finished up at the Evanston No Kings rally. It was safe, peaceful, and a show of solidarity by *at least* 1,000 people. Go to your local protest. Don’t let this administration scare you. Stand with your community when our leaders won’t.

💔 I worked at a job that was just OK with pretty messy leadership and I found it quite frustrating tho I liked the coworkers. Coworkers acted like it was heaven. Turns out everyplace else they worked before was toxic AF and straight up abusive. Our culture is so broken.

I had a terrible time choosing classes because they all sounded so interesting, I wanted to take them all! Totally off base from many others but I didn't grok that the time. Didn't have time/energy left for much social. Intrinsic academic interest / motivation is not as common as young me thought.

I've been building a graph of issues in (American) society I've been observing, and child labor has been on it since very early on. Between mass disablement from Covid and immigrant workers being scared or detained/deported, the labor landscape in America is going to be bleak.

This morning, "extremely critical" wildfire risk designation--the highest level--has been expanded by NOAA SPC to include portions of San Diego County as well as much of LA/Ventura counties. Very strong winds & *extremely* low humidity w/record dry fuels expected. #CAwx #CAfire

Current fire risk outlook for Tuesday for Southern California from NOAA SPC. It now depicts two separate/discontinuous "extremely critical risk" zones, one in central San Diego County and the over in western LA/eastern Ventura County.

David Lynch spent the last portion of his life in isolation. He said it was due to being high-risk and unable to risk getting COVID. He’s not the only person with disability or illness who’s been left behind. Everywhere you go without an n95 is a place you’ve decided disabled people don’t belong.

If Xanax or similar is an option for you, it's a help imo. I got the tiniest dose, didn't feel very diff, I thought, but then another MRI I went w/o med so I could drive and I got a very sudden panic when the wrap kinda snagged going in, eek. Managed but better with med, also relaxes muscles a bit
