Just gonna once again share this feed that automatically surfaces every Gift Link or Gift Article on Bluesky across many news outlets. This is basically how I get my news now: slow, generally very good, with a recommendation. bsky.app/profile/did:...

heck yeah. the steam deck and switch are both great, but i still get that nagging "i'd rather be playing this on a pc" feeling too often. can't articulate exactly why, but i never felt that with the vita. perfect form factor, great games, such a cool little device

It looks like 5 venture capitalists just agreed to fund jason bateman’s new app

Scruffy Jason Bateman in a long sleeve t shirt and khakis next to Barack Obama, will arnett, Joe Biden Sean Hayes, and bill clinton, all of whom are wearing at least a blazer and slacks

I want to have a talk with the people who decided that the "sign in" button on websites should always be super hidden and complicated to reach. Do you never sign in to the services you use? Am I damaging your metrics by using your product? Who hurt you

one of the pleasures of the 1990s was for your parents to get a computer and brag to everyone how good their kid is at the computer, and then ask you why you like the computer so much, and tell you to get off the fucking computer every day until you moved out

watching the toy story nfl game right now and absolutely mesmerized, there's so much really cool tech involved that is going to be amazing in like 5 years but right now it's just hilariously janky and fun

When people are nostalgic about Ye Olde Internette and wonder why we can't recapture that, this is why: the old internet was atomized **and that was good, actually**. But no one's gonna become a billionaire off of 3 million different self-hosted niche interest phpBB sites so here we are.

my favorite bug on this site is when the Home button takes you back to the chrome new tab page or wherever you were before, like it's saying "that's enough for today". someone reported it but i hope it's never fixed

i've been scrolling random discovery feeds here all day and haven't encountered a single crypto scam, influencer, nor unhinged war about a platform feature. this site is pretty good so far, knock on wood
