One is a color picker with various colors in squares, the main window is a terminal window on a white background, and other windows have a clock, a keyboard emulator, and an isometric circular imageAn old desktop user interface with an 8-bit blue background. Dark Mode Toggles Should be a Browser Feature
When implementing Dark Mode and ways to toggle it, developers currently need to duplicate code and roll their own toggle implementation. What if, instead, browsers would take care of all that?

Did you know there are less than 200 functional analog photobooths worldwide? Theres one near my hometown that's been around for 30 years (which I frequented as a teen). On a date night, my husband and I decided to hit up that same booth. A physical memory of an average night seems novel these days

For years, I was the un-official headshot photographer at @thoughtbot.com's Boston office. I now do them at our annual summits (and for friends). What I love most, though, is seeing those headshots still float around the web in avatars. A little moment of delight and warmth in my social feeds.
A woman with dark hair and a black leather jacket looking off to the side and smiling. there are plants and other greenery in the background.A person with short dark hair and a shortsleeved button down shirt holding his head with his hand and looking off to the side a concerned way. There is greenery behind him and above him.A person with short brown hair, glasses, and a dark jacket and shirt looking straight ahead with a neutral smile. There are bushes and a yellow building in the background.A bald person with a blue button down and glasses looking downward while slightly opening their mouth.
