iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Thank you Tapas for giving us yet another great example of why digital "purchases" that don't come with DRM-free downloads are no purchases at all, just rentals with an undefined time period :) I just loooove spending hundreds to thousands on a digital platform only to have you take it all away!

Screenshot from the Tapas shutdown "Ink and Refunds" section, with highlight on the last two paragraphs that basically say "Can my purchases be transferred to other Kakao-owned services? No. Can I get refunds? No." You just lose everything you've ever paid for on Tapas!

You're the apple of my eye! #inktober2026 #inktober #humanart

A digital illustration of my cat ocs, Star and Sunshine in an apple orchard. Both cats are lying down, curled on grass filled with fallen leaves and apples. There is a text "The apple of my eye" written around the cats.

my problem is that shen jiu is my super scrunkly mega blorbo and if i see a single other person give him any grace or validation i turn into the joker. i whip out his alphabetized 5000 page case file of every sin he’s ever done. i get out the autopsy report. don’t ever defend him in front of me

THE CLANS HEIR IS A TRANS WOMAN (2013) is like Steven Seagal decided to Write/Direct/Star in a love letter to his trans friends, but it looks and feels like every action movie he's made... except Hitoshi Ozawa is way way way way cooler than Seagal.

Gonna call it on this one. Lan Wangji, longing, and a weird color palette. #lanwangji

Drawing of lan wangji from grandmaster of demonic cultivation. He's standing, looking upwards with a bittersweet sort of longing on his face as he holds suibian.

A thing I learned about Meta when I was trying to understand how their statements relate to their actions a few years ago is that *they just tell absolutely indefensible lies* and journalists almost always let them. They believed no one would ever punish them for it in any way that matters.

Tweed is such a beautiful fabric to wear this time of year because it produces, in Dolly Parton's phrasing, a coat of many colors. Even a solid-colored brown is not just brown, but bits of red, blue, and yellow to produce something that looks lifted off the Scottish landscape.

There are two photos taped together. The top shows a brown stone building with a brown thatched roof. It's surrounded by green grass, stone walkways, and blue-gray sea. Below is a checked brown tweed that reflects the colors in the landscape above it.

There are two photos taped together. The one at te top shows a rocky hillside with green and straw-colored grass, gray rocks, and a tan sandy beach below. The blue waters are crashing at the shore. Below is a green herringbone tweed that reflects the colors in the landscape above it.

There are two photos taped together. The top shows a field of green and straw colored fields with bits of purple flowers. Below is a a series of checked brown tweed that reflect the colors in the landscape above it.

A swatch book of solid-colored tweeds. The green tweed has visible flecks of red, gold, and blue.
