Or chip in via the match-fund page, to double your donation this month (only 1 day to go!). www.wildlifetrusts.org/appeals/roth... It all ends up supporting the main Wildlife Trusts Rothbury Estate appeal 🦦
wildlifetrusts.org
Rothbury Estate Match Appeal | The Wildlife Trusts
The Rothbury Estate is more than a beautiful place. It's 3,800 hectares of rivers, woodlands, grasslands, peatlands and open moorland, where wildlife still has the chance to thrive at a scale rarely seen in Britain today. Here, otters play in the River Coquet's tributaries. Merlins hunt across the open hills. Heath goldsmith beetles shimmer amongst the heather. Together, river, land and sky create a landscape rich in wildlife, history and potential. But we have one chance to secure it for nature. This August and September, every gift will be doubled, up to £700,000.

Three days to go for @northwildlife.bsky.social to raise £30M to buy the Rothbury Estate. Impressively, they've secured over £27M in donations & pledges. But that still leaves a shortfall. I can only hope they're given more time by the seller. Or that he waives the difference. You can chip in here:

Colour photo showing three pale-skinned human hands covered in bright read berry juice splatters (looking alarmingly like blood). The hands surround a plastic pot full of scrumped mulberries and tiny raspberries. The box sits on top of a folded tote bag made of jolly floral printed cloth.
