You should go and see Rachel. She's very good, but also, the balls it takes to do a post like this - in a climate where comedians are encouraged to post nothing but wins, forever - merits your attendance on its own.

So basically the Trump/Cohen scorched earth approach then, with extra dishonesty on the side. Excellent summary of the method deployed and, whilst not the big issue here, one for the legal profession to again go, “not sure that really reflected the ethics modules at Bar and Law School, did it?”

📢 Oxford Greenways launch 📢 We launched the Greenways project today! Masterplan of connecting safe cycle routes. It was just great to be standing on a stage with City, County, and Uni ALL behind the project, and Councillors from 3 different parties speaking in support. Also I got a mug! 😍☕ (1/4)
Leaders from City, County & Uni all standing up on the stage supporting Greenways. & me :). The MUG!! I just love it.

I've long thought LLMs are like the pool of Narcissus. Not entirely, but it seems their deepest, most essential, function. The arrogance that is implied, let alone the loss of serendipity, of solidarity, in 'personal music' is striking when you step back. 'I know everything already'.

Yet another morning when my alarm went off at 4.40am. I made my way to Ludlow yesterday and this was the view from Whitcliffe Common at sunrise, with a flight of geese above the castle. On the horizon is Brown Clee and its summit of Abdon Burf, veiled in mist. #shropshire

2-page ad from 1962 ExxonMobil (then Humble Oil and Refining) boasting about how they supplied enough energy to melt 7 million tons of glacier each day. The ad text brags, "This giant glacier has remained unmelted for centuries. Yet the petroleum energy Humble supplies converted into energy could melt it at the rate of 80 tons per second!". The image shows glacier ice mountains rising up from the sea, against a blue sky with white clouds.

Image shows four carved vases on a pale wooden surface against a white wall. They are blue and white glazed on grey clay. I made them. Text reads: Acton Makers Market, Churchfield Road W3, Saturday 19th Sept, 10:00-16:30

I just think that risking your life at a moment's notice to save people you've never met in exchange for no money is a better expression of patriotism than dressing up like a Poundshop paramilitary and intimidating families with kids trying to get onto a ferry.
