Pulled out the kids telescope tonight for the very bright crescent moon shining in the western sky (located in Melbourne Australia) and got a great view of a big crater. Claude favours Petavius or Langrenus - what say you #astronomy experts?

Watching the #ArtemisII mission and thinking of my 8 year old self being told "girls can't become astronauts". Still feel the crush. No matter how unlikely you think a childs dream is, tell them to go for it. They will remember feeling inspired, not crushed, even if it wasn't going to happen.

Total collapse is failure and totally wasteful. What we all need is real leadership to unite people and lead us away from these people who misrepresent abuse and manipulation as 'leading the free world'.

Struggling to remember the last time the US promised a short war that was actually short. When the US president got on TV and informed us all this war would be 'over quickly', I was reminded of early 2020 when he confidently told everyone Covid would be over by Easter. Easter 2020.

Watching so-called leaders threaten mass violence against each other is more like an abusive relationship than it does 'leadership'. Leaders lead through motivation and shared vision. Abusers use fear and violence against the innocent, always confidently justified.

I'm not an expert in any of this, but I think it's pretty likely that a whole bunch of nasty diseases are precipitated by viruses that we currently dismiss as merely acute and relatively minor, and that ridding ourselves of those viruses could avoid a lot of suffering

2026. Where dropping bombs on, and murdering people because your problem solving, intelligence, and negotiation skills are so bad that your only perceived option is violently ending lives - and it's these lack of skills that gets you promoted to run the world. Puts failing upward on a new level.
