Educators - Don't post photos of destroyed classrooms or messes made during a child’s worst, most dysregulated moments. It doesn't bring "awareness" Those photos don’t tell the story of trauma, unmet needs, communication barriers or a nervous system in crisis #OntEd #autism 1/3

Many IEP goals I've seen are centred around learning neurotypical social skills. This is ableist IEPs should enable access to education not force compliance #OntEd #autism #disability #neurodiversity
Red graphic titled "Stop Putting Goals in IEPs Just Because the Learner Has an IEP." Text advocates for appropriate educational goals, questioning if they address actual disability-related needs. Tone is critical yet informative.

Aggression from dysregulated children is an involuntary, overwhelmed response of the nervous system - not a planned, goal-directed action. Their brain is in a state of high alert or "fight-or-flight". The cognitive, rational centres responsible for premeditation & impulse control are "offline"

March 15, 2026 is Long Covid Awareness DayEvery Covid infection causes damage to multiple body systems.
It is not just a respiratory virus.
It caused my heart attack. The number of people becoming disabled or dying due to Long COVID complications increases with every Covid Infection.
You can't get Long Covid if you prevent Covid infection.Long Covid is a post viral condition that is caused by Covid infection.
It is a multi-systemic infection that can manifest with more than 200 different symptoms.
Honestly, almost any novel illness-related symptoms these days tend to be related to a previous COVID infection.

You can become disabled or homeless at any time. They aren’t moral failings. You can’t “just try harder”. All it takes is one accident, one illness, one catastrophic event and your life changes forever. It’s a minority group you can join at any time.

Propagandists know a picture speaks 1000 words. It is why totalitarian regimes seek control of all media. Control input, control reality. It is why they try to own all papers, media, and muzzle comedians. Making reality difficult to discern is also a goal.
