One reason I led the @gladduk.bsky.social Charter for medical schools was because medicine has a clear and vital role to play in debunking and challenging practices that use “therapy” as a way to harm people Conversion practices are abuse. That’s all they are. This draft is deliberately harmful.

Change is literally what experts want. I’ve worked closely in medical education with experienced Public Health drug and alcohol specialists who are desperate for politicians to listen to evidence not media spin. Ignoring the data does not make our current policies any safer

It took us over a year to get this thing out through a peer review process because actual review takes time. Actual, non-bribed, non compromised review goes through iterations, and anything that went through "peer review" in a suspiciously short time is suspect. Anywho, the Cass Review is busted.
