Confirmed, the science cosplayers running the show at the WHO have decided that "droplet precautions" are appropriate for pneumonic plague. This is the 2024 WHO guidance. This is why we need to see serious jail time for their COVID negligence, NOW. iris.who.int/server/api/c... #medsky
6.2. Infection prevention and control
Infection prevention and control measures are aimed at preventing the transmission
of plague bacteria to health care workers and spread among other patients. They include
using:
• standard precautions in addition to droplet precautions. Standard precautions should
be used to manage all patients with suspected plague. Droplet precautions should be
adhered to for all patients with suspected pneumonic plague in addition to isolation;
• isolation arrangements for patients with suspected or confirmed pneumonic plague
(Annex 8);
• safe handling and burial practices for bodies (Section 8.3.1.1);
• carefully cleaning and disinfecting instruments. Instructions on preparing solutions
for disinfection are given in Annex 9;
• source control for patients with primary or secondary pneumonic plague, including
applying a medical mask to the patient when possible and tolerated.

This is the one old disease that when I learned about it, was explicitly explained as being airborne. And not just airborne, definitely, unquestionably, without qualifications as airborne.

The wild thing about writing academically re: health and societal harms of SARS2 isn’t how hard it is to find sources to back up the claim that this is some serious 💩 we are in. What’s difficult is sorting through how much has been written that we’re somehow still ignoring.

New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns, who tragically lost his 58-year-old mum and several family members to COVID-19 complications, continues advocating for vaccination. “I have asthma,” Towns said, highlighting his “high-risk status” while raising awareness of the non-mRNA NUVAXOVID vaccine.

He is looking forward with a serious expression against a blue backdrop covered in repeating logos for Chase and the New York Knicks. Safety & health limits for air quality are exceeded in many spaces in part because poor air quality is frequently not immediately noticeable to the average person. Measurements & mitigations, require both effort & change from people who operate a place.

What should we think about a doctor who uses the wrong treatment, either wilfully or through ignorance, or who uses the right treatment wrongly (such as by giving the wrong dose of a drug)? Most people would agree that such behaviour was unprofessional, arguably unethical, and certainly unacceptable.

What, then, should we think about researchers who use the wrong techniques (either wilfully or in ignorance), use the right techniques wrongly, misinterpret their results, report their results selectively, cite the literature selectively, and draw unjustified conclusions? We should be appalled. Yet numerous studies of the medical literature, in both general and specialist journals, have shown that all of the above phenomena are common.1 2 3 4 5 6 7 This is surely a scandal.

The U.S. has entered its 13th COVID wave, with an estimated 1 in 86 Americans currently infectious. Around 567,000 new infections are occurring daily, totalling 3.69 million in a week. PMC estimates a single week at this level could result in 900–1,600 excess deaths. www.wsws.org/en/articles/...
A line graph titled "SARS-CoV-2 New Daily Infections, Wastewater-Derived Estimates (U.S.)" from the Pandemic Mitigation Collaborative (PMC) Model, dated September 7, 2026.
The graph plots estimated daily COVID-19 infections from 2020 through late 2026, with the y-axis ranging from 0 to over 5,000,000. Individual pandemic waves are numbered sequentially from 1 to 13, with a massive peak at wave 4 in early 2022. Wave 13 is shown ticking upwards at the far-right edge.
A central prominent box highlights the date Sep 7, 2026, with a note stating "Preliminary estimates for the past nine days." The graph is attributed to Michael Hoerger, PhD, MSCR, MBA (@michael_hoerger) and references pmc19.com. A text box at the bottom states: "PMC identifies 12 SARS-CoV-2 waves and estimates averages of 5.4 infections per person and 14.5 months between infections."

I think acknowledgement of liability is a major issue. If you do HVAC upgrades, you can claim it's only building maintenance. Adjusting schedules can be explained away easily too. Providing N95s is really hard to explain as anything other than direct awareness of the problem.

Sections 1.50-1.86 of the UK COVID Inquiry's Module 3 report discuss the Inquiry's findings regarding the understanding of infectious bioaerosols held by infectious disease and infection control clinicians. covid19.public-inquiry.uk/reports/modu...
1.50 While clinical research has struggled to distinguish conclusively between aerosol and droplet transmission, for decades prior to the pandemic medical literature drew a distinction between the perceived sizes of infectious respiratory particles to identify whether a virus was spread via droplets or aerosols.83 Particles more than five microns in diameter were categorised as droplets, with particles under five microns deemed aerosols (see Figure 4).84 These cut-off points were repeated in various iterations of the UK’s Covid-19 infection prevention and control guidance.85
