I was genuinely asking the question because the only thing I find on the internet is that it is basically a slur from the original.... I assumed there was a better explanation for it than that as it seems a little unlikely given the good night, good morning etc haven't been slurred into something else too. Sorry if you saw that as offensive.

If the suspect is a convicted criminal, then you're dropping a criminal in another country and hoping they see justice there. That's an dereliction of duty. If the suspect isn't a criminal, then it's a disproportionate response that's cruel and unusual. I just don't see how it's of any benefit.

I think so too, but her ad editor deserves a slap... because the framing makes it clear this is about children in every sentence except the last, where she switches to the "we can do it better." That makes it unclear, and I think it's what a lot of people are responding to.
