I'm very happy to see this paper now out. We used early-life climbing ability to separate genetically identical short-lived and long-lived sub-cohorts of fruit flies, and to identify metabolites and metabolite modules that predict longevity. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025. This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

I'm new here, so here's news about an older pub (from this past August). We compared sensitivity to #rapamycin in larvae from the #dgrp. We found massive genetic variation, and were able to predict sensitivity using metabolome profiles. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10....
