"I would fight to the DEATH for my family" "I would go to war for my family!" y'all are the same ones not going to counselling for your family, not having difficult conversations and learning emotional intelligence for your family. Love is a doing word! I SEE YOU and I do not like you.

Hahaha I'm very much (bitterly?) enjoying The Pitt this week. We fax ALL radiology forms, blood requests are done on paper, paper charts all day every day and patient notes are in folders. "Is this the dark ages??" Nah bro, just a small hospital in New Zealand eah #thepitt #newzealand #medsky

Every year the media blames patients for inappropriately clogging up ED… when we all know that the data shows the REAL BIG PROBLEM is a lack of investment in community services. THE HOSPITAL IS BLOCKED BECAUSE WE CAN’T SEND PEOPLE HOME.

But every time we try to spend on care in the community the media starts printing garbage about turning into communists, lazy people taking advantage of handouts etc. And the political football is passed around while people sit on plastic chairs for 22 hours.

Whenever NZers have an option to say publicly that they don't believe in what this government is doing to Māori, there are more on the side of right than the side of wrong - more people voted for Māori wards than against them - more schools decided to give effect to Te Tiriti than did not #nzpol

NZ stands with our firefighters ✊ They're facing a Dire Emergency: broken down trucks, dangerous staffing, faulty equipment, and FENZ refusing to address a failing system. Firefighters want to keep New Zealanders safe—but they need FENZ to show up and genuinely prioritise community safety. #nzpol

Tomorrow is the Fifth of November – but let’s forget Guy Fawkes and his actions against an arrogant Protestant king and instead look to our own history: the unlawful attack on Parihaka and, by extension, Māori sovereignty. 🧵 #kikorangi

The world doesn't owe our children a living? Yes we do? Isn't that the whole point? I don't know many parents that wouldn't wish that for their kids, why is it different because they're not YOUR kids? Such an incredibly telling statement, really.

The New Zealand government’s underfunding of healthcare is killing people everyday & Doctors are saying it everyday and being largely ignored. Privatisation will make this situation worse. #nzpol
Christchurch ED doctor Dominic Fleischer told News patients were dying because of substandard care, and the situation was hurting staff and those they were treating.
"Patients are dying now really because of substandard care. Patients dying in the waiting room and corridors or who leave and literally drop dead in the car park. So that's all happened. That's atrocious care at some stage and it hurts the staff when things like that happen.

Palestinian Bedouin Women with deq and Māori Women with moko kauae. (Both are cultural facial markings) #nzpol #Palestine #Māori #newzealand
A collage of four elderly women with traditional facial tattoos. The woman in the top left and the woman in the bottom right are Māori, wearing moko kauae — chin tattoos signifying identity and heritage. The woman in the top right and the woman in the bottom left are Palestinian Bedouin, wearing deq tattoos — traditional dot and line markings on the chin and cheeks. The women wear dark clothing or headscarves, and their deeply lined faces reflect age and resilience. The photos, in both black-and-white and color, highlight the cultural significance of these markings across two different Indigenous traditions
