A few more models off my workbench, all from @crookeddice.bsky.social ! The last five cultists I needed to paint are now all taken care of, and the last figure in the "Martial Artists" set. All I have to say about him is "Omae wa mou shindeiru."

One of my favorite moments of today’s game. One of the possible clues was interviewing some civilians about what they saw at the scene of the crime. My investigators kept walking up to interview them and then failing the dice rolls to do so over and over again.

I think that's a first draft finished on the next Tarskia story, tentatively titled "The Cost of Doing Business." A merchant tries to hire her as a bodyguard after pissing off a wizard, and then tries to weasel out of paying her. Set almost entirely in a Roman-style bathhouse. 4.5K words.

Went through the box all my unpainted orcs and goblins are in and tallied everything up. It's surprisingly not terrible! Like a 100-110 unpainted figures, not counting miscellaneous odds and ends like extra wolves and boars. I could get that down to zero in a year if I'm dutiful about it.

Quote post with something old you're proud of. Harboth's Orc Archers were originally released mid-May 1987 - roughly coterminous with my own release into the world. I scored an amazing deal on a complete box of them in 2020, and they're one of my favorite units to look at in my Oldhammer Orc army.
