Back from Penkridge Warboot, and here's what I picked up for £25 - if you include the £1 entry fee That's 6 old harlequin orcs, 40k deffcopta, and 2 more metal scouts that I'm collecting g (still need to find 2 more to complete the set) All in all, not too bad really :) #warboot #40k #orcs #orks

A bunch of 28mm miniatures (metal fantasy orcs at the back, an unassembled 40k ork vehicle on the left, and two 40k space marine scouts on the right).

Finally getting around to painting these guys (which have been sitting in a box for years). The orks themselves are from an old #40k starter set... so with #warhammer returning to #armageddon in the new edition, I thought it was about time I made a start on 'em :) (still got more to do though)

Here's a quick look at another sci-fi project I've been playing around with (i.e. cargo containers) Pictured on the left is the initial prototype (which I'll usually make just to be sure that all the shapes fit together right), and next to it is the finished piece. #scifigaming #40k #starwars etc.

Quickly painted my first ever #necron models tonight (just five colors and a @sonicsledgehammer.bsky.social wash over the top). And for a super quick paint job, I kinda like how they're turning out (though I might tidy up a few areas tomorrow, and then do the bases). #40k #miniaturepainting

Got some quick paint jobs done this weekend (more chaos cultists) The two special weapon guys on the left are the new 'damned' models from Wargames Atlantic, and the rest are old GW mini's. And I think they mix together quite well :) Next job… finish their bases :) #40k #chaos #minipainting

I backed this Kickstarter a while back (from Archmage Press )... and it arrived today! It's a DMless / solo / co-op adventure for D&D (with some similarities to the fighting fantasy books) - and it also comes with some double-sided battlemaps. With any luck I'll give it a try over Xmas :) #dnd

I think the pdf for my next encounter video is done. Now, this one does rely on the players keeping a map of the dungeon - but seeing as how that's becoming a bit of a lost art, I've included one they can find (as a player handout) along the way (plus there's space for a few GM notes too). #dnd
