Just gonna throw this out there. Anyone who thinks that it’s even a reasonable suggestion to dump FDA approval for the polio vaccine and then conduct randomized controlled trials on the same vaccine IS A MORON. Also, it would be unethical. And they should be thrown in jail for child endangerment.

Parents (especially moms) should normalize their kids seeing them take care of themselves. Exercise, reading a book, having down time. Whatever makes you function better and feel human. Let your kids see you so they can understand that it’s okay to matter and take up space.

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens. Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”

I never introduced myself. I’m a Pediatric Infectious Disease doctor. I’m the director of a pediatric Covid Recovery Clinic (yes kids get Long Covid), I do local advocacy for public health issues and have two kids who are fully vaccinated. They also love to ice skate. I love to travel, sew and read.
