Our view at Sunday lunch today. Ely Cathedral in the background.
Photo taken from a formal garden terrace. There are flowers and shrubs in the foreground. In the distance there are views of fields and on the right of the photo is a river. On the horizon, but not very clear is a view of Ely Cathedral.

Stunning skyscapes at tonight's T20 Women's World Cup England v New Zealand game.
The Oval cricket ground. The photo was taken as the sun was setting, but it was raining slightly too, so there is no cricket being played and the covers are on the cricket pitch. The sun is shining through a break in the clouds . Feeling the sadness tonight. I was approached earlier today by a local charity to support a family whose child may have the same condition as our son. I was very happy to help, but so wish I was in a position to say it will be okay, it will get easier - that's not our experience. #RareIllness

The new European asylum rules take effect on a day when irregular migration is 40% down (Jan-May '26) & the no. of asylum seekers on a steady decline. And still, thanks to media & populist hype, people believe we're overrun by foreigners who come to plunder & violate. And nobody fights these lies.

The page says: "Disabled people who are able to work are trying to, but we’re locked out of opportunities when workplaces aren’t accessible, or employers are rigid.
