Machines are working on the hill behind my house filling in old mine shafts. Cobalt is full of abandoned mines. Locals know the lore of mines like the Princess, Cleopatra,Coniagas, Nancy Helens. At an open house on the reclamation I learned there was the Elizabeth and the Quaker City mines.

Boulder, CO needs only four votes to win after Justice Samuel Alito recused himself from the case without explanation. A victory for the city would clear the way for its claims -- and dozens of similar cases elsewhere -- to move forward in state courts but would likely not be the final word.
