in an appalling display of foolishness, a naval cadet has leaked classified information. A dedicated fan of networked combat simulators, the cadet got into an argument with other players about the angular velocity of the turrets on our destroyers.

Allegedly, the X-Men cartoon theme was ripped off from Linda, a Hungarian show that ran from 1984 to 1991. The composer filed a lawsuit that was settled out of court. To me, the similarities sound a little too close to be a coincidence. Either way, this Linda intro absolutely rules.

I've had a hankering for some sort of sausage casserole and lasagna. I ended up with this. I used these massive penne-like tubes as a noodle. They broke apart, creating a nice erratic texture. Mixed with a filling of tomato, mushroom, sausage. The bottom layer: oat milk bechamel. Cheese on top. 🤤

Extremely happy with this casserole, nicely browned cheesy top. 🤤

I probably couldn't handle the weather—the heat—of living somewhere like Mexico. Luckily I found a place where I can get a really good pork and cheese Pupusa (or any Mexican staple really), and they open at 10 AM. 😋

I don't think AI will ever replace well crafted art, but there is a lot of copycat, parody media, and "junk" we share. It changed the "meme economy", anyone that depends on "going viral" with disposable content will struggle. It might however help niche artists, as more of us crave authenticity. 🤔

If I could legally erect a raised platform to hold a tiny 500W array of solar panels next to my parking space, I'd buy the lumber and install/wire everything for free. That's 1-3KW of free power I could be harvesting EVERY DAY, enough to cover a commute to my wife's work. 🤷

You may notice that every "long term" well rounded person in a visible position will advocate for therapy or another sharing activity (game night, girls night, etc). Everyone needs a place to be open, feel safe, without judgement. If you want to survive visibly, you can't half-ass mental health!

Being in leadership is as often tiring and awful as rewarding. Still, a better move is an appeal to empathy. It won't always work. But acknowledge why people are frustrated, try to move forward. Mocking the people beneath you on the latter is a good path to a near-guaranteed toxic stratification.

#GameJam #NewLD advice: Pay close attention to what's going on in education. Its scary. The *MANY* grade 7 and 8 kids of today who "can't read" will be high school and college kids in just a few years. I'll give you 1 guess where a many new Ludum Dare users came from. Yep, they are students.
