I'd rather not. Everyone has their own regional and policy priorities, and my list reflects mine. But there's enough polling out now to provide a long list of "almost tied" or "slightly ahead" candidates.

Today, I made another round of donations to 10 House & Senate Dem candidates who are within the error margin in what should be GOP locks. Does it do them any good? I don't know; it can't hurt. Does it do me any good? You betcha. Hope... and a sense of solidarity. Try it, if you're able.

Once again, we have to consider the @scaramucci.bsky.social theory that DJT actually wants the GOP to crash in the midterms to prove that, without him, it's got nothing. His insurance policy against lame-duckism. His road to being the '28 kingmaker. His narcissistic ego's comfort binky.

So...a Democratic POTUS could just show up and order room service? And wander through the dining room teasing all the plutocrats who voted GOP? And wait, wait! Maybe tear down a third of it since that's a Trump-initiated presidential prerogative!!

The Trump administration's own statements suggest strongly that the entire purpose of Trump's diesel deal with Putin is to support Putin's war-making against Ukraine. It represents a switch in alignment of the US in this conflict, one which contradicts US law.

Fueling Russia’s War: The Russian Diesel Deal and International Law
By lifting export restrictions on Russian diesel, the United States arguably bears responsibility for aiding Russia's unlawful use of force.

Whether China and Russia are helping Iran is not a question to be answered as a matter of "belief." It's a question of actual knowledge. We have Intel services informing the POTUS. Congress can interrogate them to get a fact-based answer. Once we get a Congress capable of doing that. VOTE.

Russians are confused about the diesel deal. They say, "There’s a huge fuel shortage in Russia, with long lines at gas stations and rising prices. Yet we’re going to sell diesel to the US? This will only lead to even greater shortages and higher prices."

I cannot imagine why the SEC - (ahem!) THE INVESTOR'S ADVOCATE - would take a step that so clearly serves only the corporate issuers. Institutional investors aren't saying "Oh, no, we don't mind getting less information." Wall Street analysts aren't saying "tl;dr" when quarterly filings come in.

Additionally, it's an attempt to usurp the power to judge the qualifications of members of the House, which the Constitution vests solely in the House itself. And there's no reason to assume she will be the last member of Congress he goes after like this. It's a direct attack on the legislature.

It matters that she's a member of Congress. This is an extreme escalation. He is attacking a member of the one body with the constitutional power to hold him accountable and check his crimes. And he's doing so trying to gin up a fake basis to strip her of her eligibility to be in Congress.

Common Cause just told a federal judge that Trump's taxpayer funded propaganda ads ran hundreds of times after a TRO ordered an immediate halt to them. The two-page notice buff.ly/u2GESdN

2. According to AdImpact data retrieved at 2:45 p.m. Eastern today, Defendants’ ads ran in nearly 400 spots on programs that began airing at 7 p.m. Eastern last

True. Canada had about zero broken banks after the meltdown. The Cato argument is that the little banks allegedly do 40% of the small biz lending. If so, that's a marketing, not a regulatory, issue. No rule bars big banks from making small biz loans - or pushes baby banks to make them.
