The Super El Niño is breaking charts as well as records, including Climate Reanalyzer's, which previously went to 30 degrees C but had to be updated today. SSTs in this part of the Pacific are in unprecedented territory - and rising - roughly two months before the typical El Niño peak.

This is good! I'd add that utility workers aren't to blame for this, aside from the highest-ranking (and highest-paid) executives. But even executive pay is a drop in the ocean compared to profits for utility shareholders, who are overwhelmingly ultra-rich. Anyway, yeah, this is really good!

I just spent a couple days pike fishing at Red Shirt Lake in Nancy Lakes area. Apparently, it used to be full of lake trout and salmon, but now all you see is Northern Pike. Glad to see some efforts to protect native fish
