For child me, this was the coolest thing I had ever seen in my life, and it still kind of is. It's cool on its own but as an upgrade to classic Mega Man it was incredible to see.

if you use certain skills next to those rocks, it grants a long-duration buff, and you can spam switch phantom jobs to use all those skills in rapid succession to get all the buffs at once the buffs also extend to party members (I think regardless of distance?)

I know for sure this whole genAI thing has annihilated any trust I had left in the US tech industry, that's for sure. They could come out with the most useful, versatile, clean, and ethical technology and I'd still be suspicious of them, and I'm gonna be for the entire rest of my life.

I think that's a contributing factor yeah, it's not a bad thing to get into the hobby because of live play shows, but those do NOT provide an accurate representation of 3-6 hobbyists at a kitechen table, those are pro writers and voice actors and stage actors with planned scripts mixed with improv
