Fun fact about this: I get constantly interrupted and talked over in groups, and sometimes when I'm really not having it, I will just keep talking when somebody interrupts me. It is not uncommon for others to hear this and jump in and tell ME to stop talking over people.

Being trans made misoginy so apparent to me because I could personally experience the change in the way people treated me. When I started transitioning, I began to get completely ignored and it's treated like my existence is a general nuisance. It was shockingly quick and obvious.

When I transitioned, I immediately started getting written up for every little thing. Finally, in a meeting with the regional manager and the branch manager, I pointed out that I had never been written up before transitioning. They said my old boss cut me a break because i "was a sad guy".
